Bandai Namco Games announced today wall fighting, or officially known as wall running, is making a return in ninja battles through Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4! This was a feature previously seen in the 2008 PS3-exclusive Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm where fans could launch attacks while moving with their chakra-focused feet on the walls.
The feature was removed in the sequels to the game, but with the overwhelming fan request, developer CyberConnect2 is bringing it back! It’s unknown how the feature will be different from the original, but if we had to guess, it seems as if players can now launch attacks from the wall to the ground. In the original Naruto Storm, if one character was on the wall, so was the other. We’ll know for sure in the coming months how wall fighting and running will work. For now take a look at the beautiful HD screenshots and official word from Bandai Namco.
Namco Bandai Games said "Get ready for the best STORM game yet! Wall-running from the first game in the series is back in Naruto SUN Storm 4! The power of new-gen consoles lets us pull out all the stops for the explosive finale. The Fish-Lens effect will also spice up your high octane battles! Naruto and Sasuke have never looked better. Who are you rooting for?
The Storm Ends 2015!"
The latest Weekly Shonen Jump scan by Shonengamez last week, also confirmed this news. According to the scan, the game will allow players to run on walls and even cliffs which opens up the game even more.
